Good performance when working, inadequate service when not working!

Arrived back at 205 Park Shore Drive, Unit 423, Naples FL on November 4th. to find that our our Fusion TV and Internet were not working. I reported problem using telephone: 1-80*-355-**** and was given ticket # 548769 but was told that technician would probably not visit until November 13th. Obviously, Hotwire's technical support in Naples is inadequate !!

Do I have the ACC network

I called to see if I have the ACC Network with Hotwire. Was informed they were not adding it due to the high cost of the ACC Network. Really, i’m In the South and I can’t get this? Come on Hotwire, pay up!!!

I reported them to the FTC

A lawyer from Hotwire called nothing was ever resolved. I’m calling FTC again, I work for Apple, my Google Mini just keeps coming on saying the wireless network is not working, that’s because I set up a new one and Apple , AT&T are like oking into this. If I put my phone on wireless I get interrupted, by people.

Trying to play with the "Big Boys"

Hot Wire came to Valencia Isles promising to be as good as Comcast for less money. They promised to rewire and launch the community in a timely manner, and to provide superior quality customer service with on site personnel. My launch date was the end of August. It is now October 18th. Of the 5 sets in my home, only one is working and that set is using, I believe, the wiring left by Comcast. I have called Customer Service October 11th (Lila, Ft. Lauderdale), October 14th(Javonda), October 17th (Jade), October 18th(Stelle) and Shamia, who hung up on me as I corrected her that it was not Hot Wire, but I who realized and notified them that they had the wrong phone numbers for this account. Also, I've spoken to 2 Account Managers and have had 4 or 5 service visits from technicians. For one of my sets, I had to buy a longer cable from Amazon, because Hot Wire did not have a long enough cable. Today, a technician claimed, because I had a Sharp television, there would be a compatibility problem with Hot Wire. He told me that purchasing a power HDMI switch would be helpful with the problem. Customer Service sends emails to other personnel. These people call and make appointments for techs to come to visit. And that's what they do. These email each other and other people come and go and still only 1 set is working. I told them that if they wanted to play with the "big boys", they need to have "big boy abilities and tools". I have requested that Corporate get involved and to escalate this account. Also, their automated billing is not easy. They want to have direct access to my checking account for monthly billing. Or you need to charge to a credit card where they have to pay the credit card company money. They could use their customers' checking accounts for a one time ACH transfer to Hot Wire with, I believe, no charge. Sounds like a plan to me. Every utility company, department stores, credit card companies use one time ach transfers. Again, "big boy tools". Let's see what happens. I'm going to be optimistic. Maybe we can change the rating from 1 star to at least 4 stars.

Absolutely correct. They make promises they can't deliver. Need to be sued under specific performance.

My entire community is in the process of switching from Comcast to Hotwire. So far, my limited experience with these people has been the worst example of "customer service" I've ever experienced. Getting to the right "representative" is almost impossible. The people...

Need help programming my remote with new TV

I wasn’t and am not a pissed consumer...I just needed to talk to a person for information that I didn't find online, and my issue was easily resolved by the consumer service representative on the phone.

Billed on returned equipment

My credit card was charged $625 for 4 cable box that were returned in June 2019. I called before my credit was charged and was told it would not happened. I have contacted hotwire communications every week for over 6 weeks. Every customer representative has place me on hold for more than 30 minutes and when he/she returns, I was told I would receive my refund. As a loyal customer for 3 years, this should not be happening. I have been patient and now extremely frustrated to point.

Cutoff Service while under contract without notice to force you into new contract with their new improved version

Hotwire, without any customer notifications or advanced warning cut off internet service and is forcing us to upgrade to their new FISION and sign a new 1 year contract. The first year contract is still in effect. We are forced to go without service, schedule a time for a technician to come out and setup the new service. I have no desire to sign a new 1 year contract, as we are planning a move near the end of our current contract, but to have service this is our only option. Just the fact that they just turned off service without ANY notification that this would be happening in my mind a breach of the contract; this is not downtime issue, they just stopped the existing service to force all customer to the new system.

I do not want to be forced to sign a new 1 year contract, i have a contract that is current and should be honored

Extremely Deceptive

Developers will contract with this unethical company and write contracts that are 10+ years long. They will then hand off the contract to your HOA, usually 3-4 years after signing. But the contract will have clauses in it that automatically renew the contract for an additional 10 years EVERY YEAR if you do not request to get out of the contract EVERY YEAR. So by the time the HOA takes over the contract, they still have 10 years, or more, left on the contract. They will use lawyers to ensure you can not break the contract and you will be stuck with outdated equipment unless you sign new contracts with them. You are getting in a contract with a devil if you let this happen - do not buy in a community with this product. It is far below industry standards, and as many have said, the connectivity is questionable at best.
